Learn how we do things at The Rock

INDIVIDUAL FEEDBACK

This is the cornerstone of the camp. During a basketball camp with so many hours of practice, you have of course improved when you return home. This is important, but it is more important that you obtain the motivation and direction to know what your focus should be as a player.

We help you to become your own coach in some way. By using analytical tools, we assist you in looking at your own playing style and movements. We help you realize your strength and weaknesses and provide suggestions for tailored drills to work with.


VARIATION

We are of course going to train many hours a day to achieve the results. To make sure we stay fresh and ready for each practice we use as many different environments as possible. The goal is that every player experiences a large variation and through this, continues to be curious and constantly explore new ways to develop. Outdoor workouts are a key component of the camp.


ENTHUSIASM

Many players have the enthusiasm for winning games. We encourage this ability as well by using many competitive elements on The Rock. In the evening we will have different game situations where the tools obtained will be put into use in different matchup situations.
We also work with the enthusiasm for the detail. That pure joy when a detail in the game is suddenly successful and effective. Knowing that this success stirs from your own diligence.


EDUCATION

Improvement does not only happen when the heart is pumping hard. Time for reflection and moments of realization can be the key moments of a player’s path of development.
At The Rock, players will attend sessions of lectures and discussions with the following topics: communication, leadership, sports psychology and nutrition. 


SKILL TO GAME

The final goal of the camp concept at The Rock is to create the largest possible transfer between the skills obtained on the camp and the actual output when playing games. The skills are obtained during the practice sessions and lectures where at first there is no resistance in order to memorize the skill. After this, there will gradually be more disturbances designed for the skills to settle, so that they eventually become part of the players’ DNA and part of their behaviour during the games.
