Lauri Markkanen, hailing from Finland, is a standout NBA player and the biggest basketball star in Scandinavia. He holds the title of the most successful NBA player from the region. Markkanen's journey to stardom began when he made the leap to the United States to study and play basketball at Arizona University. During his time at Arizona, he showcased his exceptional skills on the court, catching the attention of NBA scouts. In 2017, he was selected as the 7th overall pick in the NBA Draft by the Chicago Bulls. Markkanen quickly made a name for himself in the league with his sharpshooting and versatile playing style. His success serves as an inspiration to aspiring basketball players in Scandinavia and beyond.


BK Amager, Global Squad, Lauri Markkanen, and Follow Through have united to establish a pioneering tradition that provides a pathway for aspiring basketball players from all over the region to immerse themselves in the American basketball experience. By working together, they are offering a unique opportunity for both girls and boys who dream of studying and playing basketball in the USA. Gear: Every player will recieve a Who’s Next jersey
Times: The camp will run from 9.30 AM to 15.00 PM
Prizes: The prizes are donated by Lauri Markkanen
Accomondation: For those in need of accomondation
we recommend Zleep Hotel Copenhagen Airport
just 2 minutes from the arena.
Local transport: We do run shuttle service from the airport to
the arena. Contact us directly.
Sign up: Your spot at the camp is secured once you've made your payment online and received a confirmation.
Capacity: We limit the number of players at the camp to fit the size of the hall, ensuring that each player's benefits and experience are maximized.
Costs: Your price to ensure a spot at the camp will be 1050 DKK (145 EUR)

Cancellation Policy: If canceled more than 30 days before the start of the camp, we will refund 100% of the fee. We will then refund 75% of the fee against a medical certificate. In case of cancellation after the start of the camp, we will refund 50% of the camp fee against a medical certificate to the extent that the child does not attend.
